JAE Purchases New Office Space

Space, the Final Frontier - Or at least a key requirement to support the growth of JAE Automation, an Eastern Ontario based Manufacturing Automation Technologies specialist serving clients in Ontario's Manufacturing sector, the U.S., and beyond.  The expansion was motivated in more than the simple logistics of providing workspace for JAE's expanding staff of talented professionals. "Our innovative work is requiring us to committ more of our time and resources to research and development.  The move to a space which supports fabrication, development, and testing in simulated work environments was a key step forward for us". said Eric Martin, one of the two founding partners of the firm.

Jim Sneyd, a senior technical lead and founding partner was excited about the immediate impact the new space will have on current project work, "We are involved in a current project with a client where we are deploying robots to gain efficiencies and throughput on their shop floor.  Our new resources allow us to bring a robot in to our shop and work intensely and exclusively with it, removed from the production environment.  It's going to allow us to be very effective and efficient in our development.  Our clients are the big winners in this".

The new 5000 square foot facility is located at 701 South Gower Drive (Hwy #43 East of Hwy #416, at South Gower Drive).  JAE is beginning construction in March 2009 to customize this multi-pupose facility for optimal use.

On completion shortly after that, JAE will occupy the space.  A grand opening celebration is being planned.
